Natural Disasters: Hurricane (Fan, water?), Flood, Earthquake.

• Design a small town that can withstand one of these disasters.
• Note (or ask students) how each type of engineer would contribute.

Rube Goldberg Machine:

• Have each team build a segment of a Rube Goldberg machine.
• The teams will have to work together to make sure that their segment will begin, as well as trigger the next one.
• Start can be as simple as releasing a ping-pong ball, end goal can be varied as well.
