These steps will guide to upgrade to OpenTUSK 5.0.   This assume you already have a working OpenTUSK databases on a separate server. Or if you database is setup as localhost, please move your database to the new server.

Required System:   Centos 7.0

  • Git clone  OpenTUSK 5.0 from github into /usr/local/tusk
cd /usr/local/tusk
git clone github.com/opentusk

 

  • Symbolic link the cloned directory to current  

     

ln -s onentusk current
cd current/install/centos

 

  • Create  tusk/apache  users     

./create_system_accounts

 

  • Create data directories   
../scripts/create_directories

 

  • Install yum packages   
./install_yum_packages

 

  • Install custom Perl and CPAN modules    
./install_perl

 

  • Create SSL     
./create_ssl_cert

 

  • Install shib  
./install_shib
