  1. The students got very excited about the volcano situation and made all sorts of creative contraptions. This activity was really about introducing the EDP while not focusing as much on other things like constraints or availability of materials. This lesson was made for a 2nd grade classroom, a very creative one at that. They really went wild with ideas and it was great to see all the students thinking so hard about their designs.
