Submissions OPEN- 15th Annual Graduate Research Symposium: 3-7pm, April 7th, 2011, Medford Campus
The GRS offers an excellent opportunity to present your research to a diverse interdisciplinary audience, to network with Tufts alumni from industry and academia, and to compete before a panel of faculty judges to win a cash prize. It will include an interdisciplinary plenary session on the theme “Planning for a Changing World”, followed by a keynote by outgoing Tufts University President Larry Bacow. Students will either present a talk (~15 min) or poster. During the poster session participants will have the opportunity to meet representatives from industry and academia. A light dinner will be available during the networking and poster session. To participate, please submit a 250-500 word abstract via the Research Symposium 2011. DEADLINE for submissions is March 1st, 2011. Presentations will be organized into tracks by general subject: STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math), Social Sciences, and Arts & Humanities. For more info, contact email@example.com.
Moo and Brew: Third Annual Meet More Deans and Administrators: February 2, 2010, 4-6pm; location TBA
Join your Deans and Administrators for a beer and cheese social. Featured faculty/staff representatives will be those from the Office of Student Affairs, Career Services and Public Safety. This is a social event initiated to allow graduate students to meet important people at the University and to provide graduate students with a forum to raise concerns and issues with the parties best capable of addressing them. If you have issues about student life, career development resources and campus safety, please be there to have your concerns raised and to do with so with some delicious food and drink!
