The 16th Annual GSC 5K Run Walk: Saturday May 4th, 2013, 11am Start
Each year the Tufts University Graduate Student Council 5K Run/Walk becomes more and more popular. We are
proud of the fact that every dollar of the proceeds we take in goes directly to benefit Medford, Somerville and
Dorchester organizations. The event is sponsored by the Graduate Student Council of Tufts University as part of
our effort to support our local community. We are very pleased to be in our tenth year of partnership with
RESPOND, Inc. of Somerville, a center that helps women and their children get out of abusive situations and rebuild their lives. We are also very excited to announce our eighth year of partnership with Project Hope, an organization based in Dorchester that helps women to take ownership of their lives through education and “works in partnership with families so they can move up and out of poverty.”

Registration is now open here! It's only $20 to register!

This year's 5K Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, May 4th, 2013. Check-in on race day begins at 10 AM on the patio outside Eaton Hall, Tufts University. The run/walk commences at 11 AM. Participants start the event from outside Eaton Hall and then enjoy a scenic run through and around the Tufts campus taking them into both Medford and Somerville. The event is open to all ages.

We are happy to announce that this year's event will be professionally timed by 3C Race Productions.

We can always use volunteers to help us get donations from local businesses, or to help the day of the race. If you're interested, please e-mail us at
