I would love to hear from colleagues who have already done synch / asynch distance learning. What are some of the best practices that have come out of your program? What pitfalls would you want to highlight?
It would be good to compare notes on the kinds of student training/preparation that programs provide to help ensure students will be able to fully take advantage of the technology used in the program as well as the skills they may need to develop to be able to be "good" on-line students (even if they are only on-line students for a portion of the program).
