Welcome to the Wiki for the collaborative project between Tufts University and the Chelsea Green Space and Recreation Committee Brownfield sub-committee.  The purpose of this website is to create a space where members of the Brownfield sub-committee and the Tufts University team can share ideas, documents, comments, etc, to further the discussion of waterfront planning outside of meetings.
What is currently on the Wiki?

There are currently six pages available to review: documents, study area, mapping, links, project background and Massachusetts DPA's.  All pages link to valuable information related to the waterfront.  We encourage you to download any and all of the documents that e post on the website.

How do I use this Wiki?

First, this is the welcome page, also the page at the top of the hierarchy.  There are currently five "children" pages, Documents, Mapping, Links, Project Background, and Massachusetts DPA's.  There are two functions that members of the Brownfield sub-committee can perform at this time: commenting and attachments.  The general public can view this website, but do not have the ability to comment or attach documents.  The following is a URL that can be provided to friends and colleagues to access this website: go.tufts.edu/theComplexWaterfront.

Navigation is simple.  On the Menu Bar, click on pages and choose the page you want to navigate to.  To return to this page, click on Home on the Menu Bar.

Commenting is easy.  At the bottom of each page is a comment button.  A new box will appear where you can type your comment.  It's very user-friendly and allows you to format your text as well.

Attaching documents is also fairly straight forward.  Navigate to the page that you would like to attach a document to.  So, for example, if you wanted to attach a document to the Documents page, navigate to the Documents page and click on Edit on the Menu Bar.  A drop down menu will appear, and choose Attachments.  First you browse to the document on the left side of the page and add a detail about the document on the right hand side.  More than one document can be attached by clicking attach more files.  Finally, click attach file.  The document will automatically attach.

If you want to link to a document that is not located on your computer, but rather on a website, please use the comment function for the time being.  I can go into the editing mode of the Wiki and add the link to the body of each page.

Enjoy using this neat tool and let us know of any suggestions!
